ATCC medium: 97 Potato-glucose agar
Potato.....................500.0 g
Glucose.....................20.0 g
Agar........................15.0 g
Distilled water to...........1.0 L
Slice potatoes thin. Add distilled water immediately to prevent
oxidation of juice. Steam 20 minutes or let simmer in water bath at
60C for an hour. Filter through cheesecloth. Make up volume to 1.0 L
and add other ingredients. Cook for 1 hour. Filter through cotton and
tube. Autoclave at 115C for 20 minutes.
