Taxonomy/description (25650, 25665, 25666, 26311). Sequence accession no. 16S rRNA gene: AY792622. The wrongly stated DSMZ collection number in the original publication, DSM 7349 (sic), was corrected to DSM 27349 in a corrigendum (25666). Pathogenic to oyster larvae (i>Ostrea edulis, Venerupis decussata, V. philippinarum, Donax trunculus). (Medium 514c, 25°C).
