Comments:This line was derived from the U266 myeloma cell line of Nilsson (Clin. Exp. Immunol. 7:477-489, 1970) by selecting for resistance to 8-azaguanine;the cells cells are HAT sensitive.
This is a batch of SKO-007 (formerly available as ATCC CRL-8033) that was cured at the ATCC of a mycoplasma contamination.
The J3 clone of SKO-007 is available also (ATCC CRL-8033-2 ).
