Comments:Peripheral blood B cells from a patient immunized with high molecular weight polysaccharide from P. aeruginosa were transformed with Epstein-Barr virus.
The antibody reacts with P aeruginosa Fisher immunotypes 2, 6 and 7.
The antibody cross-reacts extensively with clinical isolates of P. aeruginosa bearng type b flagella.
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: Iscove's modified Dulbecco's medium with 2 mM L-glutamine, 85%; heat-inactivated fetal bovine serum, 15%
Subculturing: Medium Renewal: Every 3 to 4 days
Cultures can be maintained by addition or replacement of fresh medium. Start cultures at 2 X 10 exp5 cells/ml and maintain between 1 X 10 exp5 and 1 X 10 exp6 cells/ml.
Doubling Time: 24 to 36 hrs
