Comments:The SC cell line was established from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
The cells grow as single cells in suspension, and have a granular appearance.
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: Iscove's modified Dulbecco's medium with 4 mM L-glutamine adjusted to contain 1.5 g/L sodium bicarbonate and supplemented with 0.05 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 0.1 mM hypoxanthine and 0.016 mM thymidine, 90%; fetal bovine serum, 10%
