The base medium for this cell line is ATCC formulated DMEM: F12 Medium Catalog No. 30-2006. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium:
Subculturing: Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by the addition of fresh mediumor replacement of medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension in fresh medium. Cultures grow as floating aggregates of round cells and as attached epithelial-like cells. Attached cells may be subcultured using 0.25% trypsin - 0.53mM EDTA.
Subcultivation Ratio: : 1:5 to 1:8 is recommended.
Preservation: Freeze medium: 85% Culture Media + 10% FBS+ 5% DMSO
Storage temperature: liquid nitrogen vapor phase
