Comments:Animals were immunized with purified human myeloma IgG.
Spleen cells were fused with Sp2/0-Ag14 myeloma cells.
Tested and found negative for ectromelia virus (mousepox).
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: The base medium for this cell line is ATCC-formulated Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium, Catalog No. 30-2005. To make the complete growth medium, add the following components to the base medium:
Temperature: 37.0°C
Subculturing: Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 to 2 X 10(5) viable cells/ml. Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 1X 105) and 1X 10(6) cells/ml.
Medium Renewal: Every 2 to 3 days
Preservation: Freeze medium: Complete growth medium supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO
Storage temperature: liquid nitrogen vapor phase
