ATCC Medium 814 (see below) with 25.0 mcg/ml chloramphenicol and 250.0 mcg/ml streptomycin
ATCC Medium 814:
Solution A:
Agar ..................................... 5.0 g
GC Agar Base (BD 212307)................ 36.0 g
Distilled water........................ 500.0 ml
Solution B:
Dried Bovine Hemoglobin (BD 211871)..... 10.0 g
Distilled water........................ 500.0 ml
Solution C:
IsoVitalex Enrichment (BD 211876)....... 10.0 ml
Autoclave Solutions A and B separately at 121C for 15 minutes. Cool to 50C. Aseptically add Solution B to Solution A. Mix very well. Rehydrate IsoVitalex Enrichment according to package instructions and add aseptically to medium. Mix well.
