吸水鏈霉菌渾圓亞種用于實驗和科研檢測用，屬于菌株類孢子絲2—3圈松敞螺旋形。孢子橢圓形，表面光滑。蔗糖硝酸鹽瓊脂：無氣絲?；z好，反面檸檬黃色?？扇苌亟鸾z雀黃色。葡糖天冬素瓊脂：氣絲豐茂，粉狀，暗淡灰色，吸水。基絲反面金色?？扇苌厝橹?。甘油天冬素瓊脂：氣絲豐茂，粉狀，米色，吸水?；z好，反面金色?？扇苌氐S色。無機鹽淀粉瓊脂：氣絲豐茂，粉狀，暗淡灰色，吸水?；z好，反面暗淡金色?？扇苌販\檸檬灰色。酵母精麥芽精瓊脂：氣絲粉狀，暗淡蒼色或白色?；z好，皺，反面淺麥色?？扇苌孛劢鹕?。燕麥粉瓊脂：氣絲豐茂，粉狀，米色，吸水?；z反面淺米色。可溶色素蜜金色。酪氨酸瓊脂：氣絲豐茂，粉狀，暗淡灰色?；z好，皺，反面金色?？扇苌孛劢鹕I養(yǎng)瓊脂：無氣絲?；z反面黃彩色。無可溶色素。明膠不液化。牛奶不凝固但胨化。淀粉水解。纖維素不分解。硝酸鹽不還原。耐NaCl≥7%，<10%。生長溫度15—42℃；適溫28—30℃。生長pH4.5一10.5；最適pH6.5—8.5。利用D－葡萄糖、L－阿拉伯糖、D－木糖、D－果糖、蔗糖、L－鼠李糖、棉子糖、肌醇、甘露醇。產生糖苷肽抗生素OA－7653，近似萬古霉素(vancomycin)，抑制革蘭氏陽性細菌、分枝桿菌；毒性很低，抑制細菌細胞壁肽聚糖的合成。
