Comments 注釋 This strain was originally deposited as Sarcina aurantiaca Flugge and later was identified as Staphylococcus epidermidis (Winslow and Winslow) Evans. Riboprint analysis (Dupont-Qualicon) and biochemical tests (mannitol-positive and urease-negative) support the redesignation of this isolate as S. Capitis. Other biochemical tests (maltose-positive and phosphatase-positive), however, are indicative of S. Epidermidis.
