Morphology Mycelium is fairly copious and thick.
Hyphae are straight and not greatly branched, up to 7,5 μm wide, bearing terminally or occasionally intercalarily ovoid chlamydospores up to 55 μm diam., with dark, dense, granular contents; wall is thin, smooth, colorless.
Zoosporangia are rarely produced.
Oogonia are 25-38 μm diam., with smooth and thin wall.
