Comments A general purpose integrating Saccharomyces cerevisiae/Escherichia coli shuttle vector. Orientations are such that transcription from both URA3 and LEU2 is counterclockwise. A 1.1 kb HindIII fragment containing URA3 and a 2.2 kb SalI/XhoI fragment containing LEU2 were cloned into the HindIII and SalI sites, respectively, of pBR322. The unique restriction sites are in the 3' untranslated regions of URA3(SmaI) and LEU2(SalI).
