Comments : Antigenically indistinguishable from feline panleukopenia virus and mink enteritis virus, but it has a broader host range and different HA spectrum, especially as regards pH conditions. Non-pathogenic for neonatal pups. Hemagglutinates swine, Rh+ monkey & cat RBC at pH 6.0-7.5. On passage, add virus 2 hrs after setting host cells. After 8-10 passage in feline cells may fail to immunize dogs.
