This mutant was assigned a Dales EM categories G and P, characterized by incomplete membranes with spicules, immature normal particles and mature particles with cores that are predominantly lucent at the center. The mutation was assigned by complementation analysis to vaccinia map location A24, the 132-kDa viral RNA polymerase subunit. [70405]
