Host Organism : secondary chicken embryo fibroblasts, 80% to 100% confluent
Effect : Yes, in vitro effects: Cytopathic effects (plaque formation, cell rounding) in chicken embryo fibroblasts
Comments : Must be preserved in living cells to maintain viability (10% DMSO). Virus is cell-associated. A vaccine strain derived from a CEF attenuated isolate of the Md11/75C Marek's disease virus isolate by passage in chickens to increase efficacy.
