Incubation : Duration: 1-3 days
Effect : Yes, in vivo effects: Edema, necrosis of liver Yes, in vivo effects: death of embryo
Comments : Ducks (1-2 week) become ill in 1-2 days and die in 3-5 days. Lesions occur in the liver and brain of infected ducks. Survives heating at 56C for 90 minutes. Not stable after lyophilization. An avian encephalomyelitis virus.
