Handling procedure Just prior to inoculation place the frozen vial at room temperature to thaw.
Transfer the entire contents of the vial to a tube of #3 broth (5 to 6 mL).
Use several drops of the cell suspension to inoculate a #3 agar slant and/or plate.
Additional #3 broth tubes may be inoculated by transferring 0.5 mL of the primary tube to each addition broth tube.
Incubate the tubes and plate at 37°C for 24 hours.
